In 1830 the Church was first organized under the leadership of the Rev. Rosman Kelly, the organization carried on for eleven years.
1841 - The present Church was erected by H. W. Conger. Rev. E. Morgan was the pastor. The membership was eighteen, and the property was valued at Two Thousand Two Hundred Dollars. Several people deeded property to the Church, Nancy Miller, Margaret Miller, Eli Miller and Frederick Ward, deeded August 31st, 1841.
