| The wording that you can't read on the sketch itself, says
"Bern intersection- Helderberg Trail and road to Knox". The sketch
is the work of George Dudley. "George was the dean of Architecture
at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute from 1962-1965, and taught architecture
in Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and Iraq from 1977 to 1988. In conjunction with
famed architect Wallace A. Harrison, he helped design the South Mall in
Albany and the United Nations headquarters in New York City. He wrote about
the experience of designing the U.N. building in his 1994 book Workshop
for Peace". That quote is a from The Altamont Enterprize-Thursday September
2, 1999. |
