The Berne Historical Project began in 2001 as a means of sharing the history and genealogy of the people of Berne, NY. It has been a volunteer effort spearheaded by Hal Miller and offers an amazing amount of information for historians and genealogists alike. Search for your Berne family surnames or check out the George Warner 1862 & 1863 diaries, historic events or the Hilltowns Genealogy, a few of the hundreds of items of interest.
Both of these sites have been created by many of the same volunteers that brought you the Berne Historical Project and take advantage of new methods for sharing the history and geneaology of the Albany Hilltowns.
