Since the earliest days our churches have served as focal points for communities everywhere. They provided a place for people to meet, share their faith and brought communities together. Churches often provide genealogists with accurate records of ancestors marriages, baptisms and deaths. The Berne Historical Project volunteers are beginning to assemble the history and records of area churches and will offer the data here as it is transcribed, starting with the Reformed Church and the Lutheran Church.
