WHOSE BIBLE?

I just discovered an old (1845) Bible which I believe came from either the Adams / Wright / Bolster / Shultes / West family lines of my husband's mother's family or the Eberle / Dietz / Finn side of my husband's father's family. I'm trying to discover whose Bible this was. In it there was a telegram written in 1890's: "George Silvernail, Ida is dead." It was signed, "Abram Cantine." Other names listed in the Bible are: Betsyan Silvernail (b. 1812, d. 1859), Mary Silvernail (b. 1847, d. 1862), Anie Silvernail (b. 1853, d. 1857), Amust West (b. 1850, d. 1901), Miss West (b. 1818, d. 1901).

One family name which is part of my husband's mother's genealogy is West: Magdelena West (b. 1805) married to Peter William Shultes (b. 1801) Most of these families evolved in Berne, NY, but the West members appear to come from Wright in Schoharie County, NY. The Silvernails (George and Ida) were born in Wright, Schoharie County. The Eberle / Dietz / Finn side came from Schenectady, Schoharie (?) and Fonda, respectively.

Also in the Bible was a newspaper clipping dated 3/18/190c telling of the death of Jarvis Peer died at the age of 6 having been hit by a train in Glenville, NY. He was the son of Jordan Peer

Ideas:

This was probably a Silvernail family bible, since Silvernails are listed first. I think I have this nailed down. First I found in an 1880 Census in the town of Wright in Schoharie County individual listings of George
(b.1868) and Ida (b.1874)Silvernail with William Silvernail listed as father. In an 1850 Census in the Town of Middleburgh, I found this family: John Silvernail, b. 1810, and his wife Betsy A. Silvernail, b. 1811ish. This is probably the Betsyan in the bible. Their children were Harrison born 1842 (?), William born 1845 (George and Ida's father), and Mary E. Silvernail, born 1847. This is likely the Mary who is listed in the Bible
as dying in 1862. Anie wasn't born yet in 1850. Next I found the above William Silvernail's (b. 1845) family in the 1880 Census, Wright, SchoharieCounty: William, husband, born 1845, Elizabeth, wife, born 1845, George (our George), born 1868, Laura, born 1870 and Ida (our Ida) (mentioned in the telegram to George from Abram Cantine) born 1874. Next I found (on the Mormon site) an Ida Silvernail, born 1869 (close enough?) married to Abram Cantine around 1890 in the Town of Livingston, Columbia County. So, I think Betseyan is George Silvernail's grandmother, and the bible came to George via his father. The 2 West deaths listed last in the bible are:
1) Arnust (or Amust?) West, born 1850
2) Miss West, born 1818, died 1901

So, the remaining questions as I see them are: What were the maiden names of Betseyan (1812-1901) and Elizabeth (1845-?). That might explain who the Wests in the Silvernail household are.

I don't know what to make of poor little Jarvis Peer.
