Deitz (Dietz) Family Bible

July 1997 Zane Gray Beller found in the library of the museum of the Historical Society
of Berne, Albany County, State of New York a copy of "Life of Christ" a listing on the fly leaf of the Peter Ivis Deitz and Elizabeth Haverly family. Peter Ivis Deitz was the son of John Jost Deitz and Eva Hilts, and was born April 15, 1791. He married Elizabeth Haverly, daughter of Christian Haverly and Eva Kniskern, who was born October 13, 1793. They were married November 11, 1809. Peter Ivis Deitz died April 6, 1855 and Elizabeth Haverly died in 1857. NOTE: This additional information was compiled from other sources.
