OBITUARY

Mr. Francis Bolster, the oldest resident of the town of Berne, died Nov.15, at his late home, in the midst of his family circle, at the ripe old age of 93 years. He was a kind father, an honest and upright citizen. His latest sickness was of one week’s duration. His funeral was held from the Lutheran church of Berne, Rev. Mr. Kramer officiating. He is survived by six daughters and one son to mourn his loss, viz: Mrs. David Devoe, East Berne; Mrs. Elihu D. Willsey, Canastota; Mrs. Alvah M. Wright, Berne; Mrs. Charles E. Willsey, Middleburg; Mrs. John W. Stewart and Mrs. Charles Weidman, of Albany; and Mr. Orville C. Bolster of Berne. He leaves twelve grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
