Berne Heritage Days, July 18, 19 and 20th 2003 updated January 2003 |
The Town was so enthusiastic about the success of last year's Berne Heritage Days that they are sponsoring it and making it an annual event. Berne Heritage Days 2003 will be held Friday, July 18 through Sunday 20. It is going to be a really great weekend with the whole town joining to make it happen.
The event is planned as a three-day event to bring together both local residents and descendants of Berne families from all over the United States who are interested in Berne history and genealogy of their Berne ancestors. Out-of-town visitors will be able to visit the actual site of their ancestors' farms, homes, churches and cemeteries. They will also be able to meet distant cousins and fellow researchers.
Transportation: No transportation is available. If this
would make it impossible for you to attend, let us know, and we will try
to find someone you can ride with while in the area.
