| Elizabeth Devoe was born on 1 Aug. 1830 and was baptised on 12 Febr. 1831 at the Second Reformed Dutch Church by Rev.David Devoe. The ceremony was witnessed by the father, John I. Devoe and mother, Sarah Lawson. The original baptism records are located at Second Reformed Dutch Church on page 14.
