| Ruth Swan was born on 27 Oct. 1828 and was baptised on 13 Sep. 1829 at the Second Reformed Dutch Church by Rev.Peter Stryker. The ceremony was witnessed by the father, William Swan and mother, Hannah Hallenbeck. The original baptism records are located at Second Reformed Dutch Church on page 14.
